A delicious and creamy almond semolina dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Gradually whisk in semolina, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in ground almonds, butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into a greased dish and let it cool before serving.
  5. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Best served cold for a refined texture.
  • Add slivered almonds on top for garnish.
