- 500 g puff pastry
- 200 g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 100 g grated cheese
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in bell pepper, chili powder, and cumin; cook for another 5 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each rectangle and sprinkle with cheese.
- Roll up the rectangles and seal the edges.
- Brush each roll with egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with salsa or guacamole for a delicious addition.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
