Traditionally Swedish meatballs made at home, served with rich gravy and lingonberry jam.

- 500 g ground beef
- 250 g ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 100 ml breadcrumbs
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 tbsp butter
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, and allspice.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Form small meatballs with your hands.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
- Remove from heat and serve with gravy and lingonberry jam.
Notes
- For best results, let the mixture rest in the fridge for 30 minutes before forming meatballs.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or pasta for a complete meal.
