Crispy feta is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the creamy texture of feta cheese with a crispy, golden-brown exterior.

  • 200 grams feta cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it.
  3. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each slice of feta cheese in the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated feta on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add some garlic powder to the breadcrumb mixture.
