- 1 pack phyllo dough
- 500 grams Ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the Ricotta, eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, mint, salt, and pepper.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter.
- Place another sheet on top and brush again with butter.
- Spread a portion of the cheese mixture along one edge.
- Roll the dough over the filling to create a log shape.
- Place the rolled Börek onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with more melted butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Feel free to add spinach or other greens for variation.
